Speaking via Internet phone, Michelle Sobala of Organic Webs describes growing up in Northern California, her passion for creating jewelry and photography — and mentions with a laugh that she ranked 4th place in the statewide California Standardize Algebra Test her sophomore year in high school. A love of technology, a mathematical mind and a creative spirit: fitting she made a career as a web designer and developer. Her understanding of the Internet and grasp of client’s marketing strategies enable Sobala and her Organic Webs team to make clients’ web presence the natural, gravitational hub of their brands.
Organic Webs are interactive experiences that captivate viewers — they engage visitors longer and guide them through to the end result: browser-to-customer conversion. Sobala’s approach saves clients time by putting the web to work for them. Organic Webs are convenient for clients to manage, with their content management tool that has evolved to become a versatile environment that empowers clients to truly take ownership of their web site.
But her ultimate creation to-date is her one-year-old daughter Jasmine. And she’s still somehow managing to learn how to paint, and how to play golf with partner, Jeremy. Someday, she says she may even camp out on a warm beach — with her family, laptop and Internet phone.
